The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland. We are looking for an Intern (m/f/d) in QC Bioanalytics. The QC Bioanalytics department at Lonza Visp is responsible for a broad range of biochemical analyses. To support our growing team, we are seeking a motivated intern (m/f/d) who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment and contribute to our quality control operations. This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. What you'll do:Carrying out routine analysis with a focus on ELISA and qPCR, in compliance with GMP and safety guidelinesMethod implementation, validation and method transferAdministrative activities, such as documenting the results and creating work instructionsSupport laboratory maintenance (responsibility for equipment) and ensure that the laboratory is clean and tidy What we are looking for: Completed vocational training as a Biology Laboratory Technician (m/f/d), a Bachelor's degree in Biology, or an equivalent qualificationExperience working in a GMP-regulated environment is considered an assetFirst experience with ELISA and qPCR is advantageousExperience working in a GMP-regulated environment is considered an assetYou are independent, responsible and have a very precise way of working.
